Fabian Ross low res3.jpgAs 2018 draws to a close, it’s a good time to pause and reflect on the year we have all had.

Much has happened this year, so it’s important for all of us, even in our busy lives to stop and take a breath and acknowledge the past events and clear a space for future plans.

Recent volatility in investment markets we believe will continue as trade tensions and worldwide economic concerns have still yet to fully play out in the markets. I also strongly encourage you to read our General Manager of Investment's recent article so you can arm yourself with some of the facts about investment risk and how your money is invested. Our default investment option is less weighted to shares than other “Balanced” funds, so this option is less impacted by the recent falls in the share and bond markets.

We have recently launched our new roadshow  at various employers to help reunite members with any lost super or super that they had forgotten about, set their online account up and answer any questions. This service is available to all employers so I encourage you to check it out and get in touch to book one at your workplace.

It’s been a busy year for us and we don’t anticipate the pace slowing down next year. We will keep you informed along the way but if you have any topics, questions, concerns or feedback, please feel free to email us at info@wasuper.com.au. We would love to hear from you.

Festive season closure

  • WA Super will also be closed from 3pm (WST) on Monday 24 December 2018 until 8.30am (WST) on 2 January 2019.

From all of us at WA Super we wish you and your families a safe and not-so-boring Christmas and new year.

Best wishes
