WA Super News
Welcome to the Summer edition of Employer News for 2017
As the year draws to a close, it is good to reflect on the year we all have had and what we can look forward to in 2018. I hope you have had a great year in all things family, health and career. Members of WA Super have had a great year. WA Super’s default investment option, MyWASuper has increased by10.23% in the last 12 months to 30 November 2017. Check out the latest performance figures of all our options here.
So what’s in store for WA super in 2018?
From previous correspondence, you may be aware that the Concept One will be merging with WA Super in February 2018. We do not anticipate any impact on WA Super employers when we transition Concept One, however there may be some minor processing delays for members. Any delays in our processing times will be communicated on our website in late January.
WA Super members would have received notification of recent changes in the Sustainable Future investment option. We have made this investment option even more sustainable with a focus only on investments that promote global change through impact investing, the first of its kind in Australia. If you would like WA Super to do a presentation to your staff, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also just launched our free personal advice service for all members called Simple Super Advice. This is a service that all working members should try out. WA Super Account Managers visiting your offices will be talking to members about this fantastic new opportunity. The feedback we have received from members so far has been fantastic, and it could make a big difference for your employees' super and their financial wellbeing.
We are also working on some other innovative digital solutions to help employers and members make the most of their super. You will hear more about these from your WA Super Account Manager or in communications early next year. To keep abreast of all the latest WA Super developments and industry news, please connect with me on LinkedIn here.
Please take the time to read through the attached articles and if you have any topics or questions you would like covered in future Super News, then email us at email@example.com or contact your WA Super Account Manager.
Lastly, have a happy Christmas and a safe festive break, and I look forward to speaking to you in the new year.
