CEO welcome to Employers

Welcome to the 2nd edition of Supernews for 2017. Here at WA Super, we are committed to helping your employees achieve their retirement dream. Shortly all members will be receiving their individual annual member statement illustrating where they are on that journey and what they can do to stay on track.

Over the last year, we saw the superannuation system continue to experience substantial change and intervention from the Federal Government impacting members and their plans for retirement. The team at WA Super expect that there will be more changes in the future and we will continue to be proactive and respond to those changes as they arise.

One of the areas where we think we can help your employees in not only making super simpler, is the area of improving employee’s financial well-being. We are currently developing a new financial wellness offering that will be trialled with employers this year. To register your interest, email us at newsletter@wasuper.com.au.

Recently we refreshed our WA Super website with a simpler navigation, including a new online Learning Centre with an easy to understand, simple financial educational program called Money 101 that your employees can view anytime, anywhere.

Over the next year we will continue to improve the services we provide to your organisation and your employees to ensure members continue to engage with their super and remain on track to achieve their retirement dream.

Please take your time to read through the attached articles including some exciting news about an upcoming merger. If you have topics or questions you would like covered in future Supernews then email us at newsletter@wasuper.com.au.
