Facebook competition terms and conditions
Be in the draw to win a $200 visa gift card
If you are a WA Super member, have liked WA Super’s Facebook page and told us what’s more boring than super in the post’s comments, you can be in the running to win a $200 visa gift card. Do all this by midnight (WST) 30 November 2019 and you will automatically be entered into the draw.
How to enter
To enter the WA Super Facebook competition during the promotion period,
1) Visit our Facebook post via the link provided in our Spring 2019 newsletter or here and either:
a) log into your Facebook account, or
b) create a Facebook account if you do not already have one*
2) Make your comment about what's more boring than super on this post; and
3) Like WA Super’s Facebook page.
*If you create a Facebook account, note that you must agree to Facebook’s terms and conditions, and any relevant policies, upon joining. WA Super is not affiliated with Facebook and are not responsible for any Facebook terms and policies.
In order to be eligible for the prize, the content of your comment posted on Facebook must NOT:
- disrespect others
- incite hatred
- break the law – this includes libel, condoning illegal activity, and breaking copyright
- be irrelevant
- be offensive
- be posted with a name, avatar or anything which includes abusive, offensive or obscene words or images
The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering and participating, you agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) your participation in the competition, or (ii) your acceptance of a prize and/or use or misuse of a prize.
Competition terms and conditions
- The promoter is: WA Local Government Superannuation Plan Pty Ltd ABN 64 066 797 162, AFSL 269006, as Trustee for WA Local Government Superannuation Plan WA Super ABN 18 159 499 614
- Employees or any associates of WA Super, Western Financial or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
- You will automatically be entered into the draw if you enter a comment on WA Super’s post (link provided above and in our Spring 2019 newsletter) on what is more boring than super; and ‘like’ WA Super’s Facebook page.
- Closing time and date for entry will be midnight WST on 30 November 2019. After this date no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. The prize for the winner is as follows: 2 x $100 visa gift cards ($200 in total).
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice for any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- Winners will be chosen at random.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material without remuneration for an unlimited period for the purpose of promoting this competition or any products supplied by the promoter.
- The promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition. Personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the promoter's privacy statement which can be found at www.wasuper.com.au/privacy. Personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party other than in accordance with the promoter's privacy statement and these terms and conditions.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
