What is SuperClick Advice?

SuperClick Advice will allow you to get online advice about your WA Super – Super Solutions account (super account).  This advice will only cover the following topics:

  • How your super account is tracking towards your retirement goals;
  • How much you need to contribute to your super account to reach your retirement goals; and
  • Which investment option(s) your super account should be invested in to align with your risk profile and retirement goals.

SuperClick Advice does not take into consideration the following which may help you meet your retirement goals:

  • Any other super accounts (including WA Super – Retirement Solutions accounts), or other assets or investments that you or your partner may have;
  • Any current or future entitlements to Centrelink; and
  • Whether any surplus income should be used to fund another investment, pay off any debts, or another purpose other than contributing to your super account.
Assumptions
  • All taxes, superannuation guarantee rates and contributions caps are based upon the current legally-mandated rates and caps ("Statutory Rates") and are not based on future increases or decreases whether proposed or already legislated for;
  • It is assumed that your salary will neither increase nor decrease over the relevant period of time until retirement age;
  • All projections are shown in present values (i.e. in today's dollars);
  • Your insurance needs and eligibility are also not considered as part of SuperClick Advice;
  • It is assumed that you have private health insurance and therefore are not subject to the Medicare Levy Surcharge; and
  • The life expectancy age used in your projections may be understated by one year due to rounding.

The Statutory Rates used as part of SuperClick are reasonable default assumptions to make on the basis that we can not reliably forecast future amendments to the legislation that may increase, decrease or delay proposed increases or decreases to the Statutory Rates.

How does it work?

You should only make a decision about your WA Super - Super Solutions account after completing all the questions in the SuperClick Advice process and reading the Statement of Advice (SoA) issued at the end of the process. This advice will set out how you are tracking towards your retirement objective and action you may take. The information in the SuperClick Advice process is not intended to be relied upon for the purpose of making decisions about your WA Super - Super Solutions account, unless you complete the SuperClick Advice process. Should you not complete the SuperClick Advice process, you should consider obtaining financial advice from a financial services licensee before making any financial decisions.

SuperClick Advice is based on the information that you provide, current legislation and the assumptions outlined in the SoA. It is important that you carefully read the SoA and assess the appropriateness of these recommendations in light of your overall financial situation and objectives.  If your circumstances change, or the SuperClick Advice is older than 30 days, you should review this advice prior to implementing any recommendations.

A tracker bar is visible at the top of each page representing a shortfall or a surplus. The teal arrow represents that the target has been reached or exceeded (surplus) and the red arrow represents the proportion of the shortfall in relation to the target account balance.

As SuperClick Advice is provided online, you agree to receive the SoA and other related documentation, including our Financial Services Guide (FSG) and Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and associated guides electronically. You should read these documents before using SuperClick Advice and they are accessible at any time through your online account.
